I'm Jesus Kargue, a Houston filmmaker.
I believe that fiction is a mirror to reality. Our reflection in the characters and stories we experience, reveals the deepest aspects of our humanity.
Some of my work include my student film, Spring Branch Chronicle, and my most recent short film The Hat-Man, which screened at the inaugural Local Filmmaker Showcase, at the historic River Oaks Theatre.
In addition to my directorial work, I also work as a cinematographer, helping other storytellers bring their vision to life.
